Product Care and Maintenance Guidelines
Cleaning
- Before using your fire pit for the first time, inspect the appliance thoroughly. Clean the unit at least once a year and have a certified technician perform an inspection.
- Regularly check the burner. If it appears dirty, clean it gently with a soft wire brush. Be sure to remove any dirt or debris from the burner area to ensure efficient performance and extend the life of your fire pit.
- To clean the fire pit, ensure it is completely cool before starting. Use water to spray the exterior but avoid spraying directly onto the burner or ignition components. Wipe the surface dry with a cloth.
- When the fire pit is not in use, and once it has cooled down, cover it with a full-length protective cover. This will guard it against weather damage and pollutants.
- Ensure that the fire pit is completely shut off, disconnected from any gas lines, and fully cooled before applying the cover.
- Cleaning may need to be done more frequently, depending on environmental conditions. Keep the burner, control compartment, and air circulation passageways clear and free from blockages.
Maintenance
- Regularly inspect the hose connecting the propane cylinder for any signs of wear or damage. Any natural gas connections should only be inspected and serviced by licensed professionals.
- Spiders and insects can build nests in the burners, blocking gas flow and creating dangerous conditions. Check and clean the burners periodically to prevent any safety hazards.
- Any protective covers or guards removed for maintenance must be replaced before operating the fire pit again.
- Always inspect the fuel supply, including hoses for propane models, for signs of leakage before each use.
- Do not attempt to repair or replace any parts yourself. Always hire a certified technician for repairs. Unauthorized repairs will void your warranty.
Storage
- Always turn off the gas supply when storing the fire pit.
- If storing indoors, ensure the fire pit is disconnected from the fuel supply.
- Store propane cylinders outdoors in a well-ventilated area, away from children's reach. Ensure that detached cylinders have their valve plugs securely tightened. Never store them in enclosed areas such as garages or buildings.
- To prolong the life of your fire pit, protect it with a cover when not in use. Ensure the unit is fully cooled before applying the cover to avoid damage. Heat or burn-related damages to the cover are not covered by the warranty.
