Shipping Policy

Standard Shipping (Free)

Please note that we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes; a street address is required for all deliveries.

Order Confirmation

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. Once we receive your order, we will start our fulfillment process. All orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. Transit times vary from 5-7 business days.

Processing and Delivery Time

Estimated delivery dates are provided on each product page. Be sure to check these estimates before completing your purchase. Typical timelines are as follows:

  • Order Processing: We aim to process your order within up to 2 business days (Mon - Fri). For orders placed after 3pm (EST), processing will begin on the next business day.
  • Delivery Time: Delivery typically takes 5-7 business days from the time of pickup, depending on your location and the originating warehouse. This service includes door-to-door delivery for smaller items. For larger, bulky items, carriers will unload them at the front of your property. Please note, our carriers cannot enter your home or property.

These delivery times may vary for custom-made or made-to-order products, or if stock is limited.

Process of Delivery

Due to the size and nature of many of our products, most items are shipped via third-party freight carriers.

  • Scheduling Delivery: Once your order is dispatched, the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery time. They will provide a time window (morning or afternoon) but cannot guarantee an exact time.
  • Receiving Delivery: You will be asked to sign a delivery receipt to confirm the product was delivered in good condition. If you are not available at the scheduled time, you will need to rearrange the delivery. Please note that any additional delivery costs incurred due to rescheduling will be your responsibility.

Note: Standard Shipping delivers to the curbside only. For heavier items, we recommend having assistance to receive your order.

Inspection

When your order arrives, please inspect the shipment carefully before signing the delivery receipt.

  • Count Boxes and Items: Ensure the number of boxes and items matches the delivery receipt.
  • Inspect for Damage: If there is visible damage to the packaging, mark "DAMAGED" on the delivery receipt and refuse the delivery. For minor damage, mark "DAMAGED" on the receipt but accept the shipment.

Contact us within 24 hours at support@lavishpatio.com to report any damage.

After accepting delivery, it is your responsibility to unpack and inspect the items. If you discover any damage, notify us within 24 hours.

Missing Items

Report any missing items listed on the delivery receipt within 24 hours of receiving your order by contacting our customer service team. Mark the delivery receipt "missing" and notify the truck driver of the short shipment before signing the receipt. Allow a few extra days for the carrier to locate the missing items. If they cannot be found, we will ship replacements at no cost.

We reserve the right to reject claims for missing items if not reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Stolen Packages for Non-Freight Deliveries

For USPS, UPS, or FedEx deliveries marked as "delivered" but not received, you must file a claim with the postal carrier. We are not responsible for stolen packages.

Tracking Information

Our policy is to keep you informed. When your order is dispatched, we will contact you by email with the relevant tracking information so you can monitor the delivery progress. For larger items like BBQ Grill Islands or Pergolas, our carriers will also call to confirm a delivery time.

Beyond Point Deliveries

If your shipping address is in a 'beyond point' area (e.g., difficult access points such as narrow roads, gated communities, islands, rural areas, or mountains), a shipping surcharge may apply. These surcharges are calculated by the shipping companies. We will contact you if your address incurs a 'beyond point' surcharge.

Delivery Delays

We strive to deliver your order as promptly as possible, but Lavish Patio and our carriers cannot be held responsible for delays due to incorrect address information, strikes, legal lockouts, or other disruptions caused by suppliers. In such cases, delivery times will be extended accordingly. We are not liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges, or expenses arising from late delivery.

Delivery Access

Before ordering large items, please ensure that the dimensions of access points in your home (doorways, staircases, corridors, lifts) are adequate. It is your responsibility to verify that the merchandise will fit. Dimensions are listed on most product pages.
